On March 14, the director of the Industrial and Information Technology Bureau of Zhangqiu District led a team to visit Jinan Haoyang Forging Co., Ltd. The team focused on inspecting the development situation of the "specialized, innovative, unique, and high-quality" strategy of the enterprise. The inspection team entered the production workshop and visited the newly launched 630-ton friction press machine production line of the company, expressing their approval of the enterprise's "small-batch, customized" steel ball production capacity.
During the research, the company showcased the φ120mm low-alloy steel balls customized for a large iron mine in Shanxi Province. By adjusting the chromium-molybdenum alloy ratio, this product maintained an impact toughness of ≥ 12J/cm² even at -20℃ low-temperature conditions, solving the problem of rapid equipment wear in northern mines during winter. According to statistics, such customized products account for 40% of the company's sales revenue, and the customer repeat purchase rate is 85%.
The leaders of the District Industry and Information Technology Bureau stated that they will support Haoyang Forging in applying for the "Specialized, Skilled, Innovative and High-Quality Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" in Shandong Province, and will assist in connecting with policy resources to help the company focus on developing and strengthening itself in the field of wear-resistant materials. The company's director disclosed that this year they plan to invest 5 million yuan to build a product testing center, and introduce equipment such as direct reading spectrometers and impact testing machines, in order to further enhance the quality traceability capability of steel balls.
