These balls are made of B2/B3 high-strength alloy steel, with a ball consumption rate 15% lower than the industry standard, and the breakage rate is ≤ 0.5%. The product is based on the quality control system of Finnish technical cooperation, providing MTC material certification, covering all specifications from 20mm to 90mm, and can be customized for production. Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting launched a new generation of B2/B3 material wear-resistant forged steel balls in February 2026. With its core advantages of low ball consumption and low ball breakage rate, these products have been exported to 12 countries and regions. This product adopts a vacuum heat treatment process, with hardness evenly distributed between HRC58-62, suitable for all specifications of grinding from 20 to 90mm. Each batch provides an MTC material certificate. The dual-metal composite process achieves a surface hardness of HRC 60-65 and a core hardness of HRC 30-35 with a gradient, without any fractures for 3,000 hours, and the wear resistance is 15% higher than that of imported products. It has obtained 5 patents and has been supplied to the National Energy Group. A 50,000-ton intelligent production line is planned, and after the 2027 production start, the procurement cost can be reduced by 40%.

In the first quarter, the export volume of B2 material forged steel balls by Jinan Haoyang Casting and Forging reached 3,200 tons (up 80% year-on-year). The product uses GCr15 bearing steel and adopts isothermal quenching technology. Each ball consumes 0.85 kg of ore per ton and the crushed ball rate is ≤ 0.3%. It has passed SGS and CE certifications and has newly acquired customers in South America. The company is expanding its intelligent production line and introducing digital twin technology. Customized products now account for 35% of the domestic high-end market.

Jinan Haoyang Casting and Forging has launched high-chromium composite forged steel balls, with chromium content ranging from 10% to 15%. The surface hardness is HRC 55+, the core toughness is ≥ 12J/cm², the wear resistance is enhanced by 2 times compared to carbon steel balls, the ball consumption is reduced by 40%, the breakage rate is ≤ 0.3%, and the per-ton grinding cost is reduced by 15 yuan. The product has obtained 3 patents and has been applied in enterprises such as Zijin Mining. In the third quarter of 2025, the sales volume of high-end forging balls will increase by 22%, the export volume will reach 8 million US dollars, and full-sized customization from 20mm to 100mm can be provided.
