Chemistry Composition:
Forged grinding balls are available in materials such as 45# Steel, 50Mn, 60Mn, 65Mn, 75Mn, B2 and B3.
Hardness of Grinding balls (Rockwell C):
The wear resistance of the forged steel balls depends on the microstructure of the steel which is altered using carefully selected heat treatment variables specifically designed for each particular alloy. The control variable for the finish product is the hardness range.
