High-end wear-resistant products have become the new favorite of overseas mining companies.
In the first quarter, the export volume of B2 material forged steel balls by Jinan Haoyang Casting and Forging reached 3,200 tons (up 80% year-on-year). The product uses GCr15 bearing steel and adopts isothermal quenching technology. Each ball consumes 0.85 kg of ore per ton and the crushed ball rate is ≤ 0.3%. It has passed SGS and CE certifications and has newly acquired customers in South America. The company is expanding its intelligent production line and introducing digital twin technology. Customized products now account for 35% of the domestic high-end market.

Jinan Haoyang Casting and Forging has won a contract for forging steel balls of 1,000 tons in the Southeast Asian market with a B2 material. The products cover specifications of 80mm and 90mm. The ball consumption, breakage rate, etc. meet the industry standards. The products are made of GCr15 material and undergo isothermal quenching process, with a hardness of HRC58-62. The wear resistance is improved by 30%-50% compared to ordinary cast balls. The company has completed customs declaration and will ship in early March. At the same time, it plans to build a digital twin workshop to strive for a 50% market share in the high-end market by 2026.
