Bulk orders from overseas mines, with performance indicators leading the industry
Recently, Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting Co., Ltd. has secured a thousand-ton batch order from a major metal mine in Southeast Asia with the help of its B2 material forged steel balls, further demonstrating the international competitiveness of domestic high-end wear-resistant steel balls.
The B2 material forged steel balls in this cooperation cover two mainstream specifications: 80mm and 90mm. They strictly follow the drop ball impact fatigue test standards: the fragmentation rate of 80mm steel balls is ≤ 0.5%, and the ball consumption is controlled within 0.85 - 0.95 kg/ton of ore; the fragmentation rate of 90mm steel balls is ≤ 1%, and the ball consumption is 0.90 - 1.00 kg/ton of ore. All indicators are superior to the industry's conventional levels. The product is made of GCr15 bearing steel, processed through precise forging and isothermal quenching technology. The surface hardness reaches HRC58 - 62, and the core toughness maintains a good balance. The wear resistance is improved by 30% - 50% compared to ordinary cast steel balls, perfectly matching the heavy-duty grinding scenarios in metal mines.
According to the head of the Export Department of Haoyang Forging & Casting, the successful conclusion of this order was due to the customer's high recognition of the product's stability and cost-effectiveness. Currently, the company has completed the preparation of the MTC documents and the customs declaration process for the first batch of goods, and is expected to ship in early March. In the future, Haoyang Forging & Casting will continue to focus on the technological research and development of high-end wear-resistant steel balls, planning to invest 30 million yuan to build a digital twin production workshop, further improving product accuracy and production efficiency, and striving to achieve a 50% market share of the domestic high-end forging steel ball market by 2026.
