Jinan Haoyang Green Forging Steel Balls Have Been Included in National List; Circular Economy Achievements Recognized
The green forged steel balls produced by Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting Co., Ltd. have recently been successfully included in the national green manufacturing product list, making it one of the few wear-resistant material enterprises in China to obtain this certification. This product is made from 100% recycled steel and achieves a 45% reduction in unit product energy consumption and a 35% reduction in carbon emissions through the optimization of the entire process of energy conservation. Multiple indicators have reached European environmental protection standards, providing a replicable model for industry green transformation.
As a leading enterprise with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting has been deeply engaged in green manufacturing for many years and has established a closed-loop system from scrap steel recycling, precise forging to the return of old balls to the furnace. The forged steel balls produced by the company not only perform outstandingly in environmental protection indicators but also are impressive in core performance: the hardness is uniformly distributed in the HRC55-HRC67 range, and the impact toughness reaches 12-35J/cm², fully meeting the high-strength grinding requirements of metal mines and cement industries. Currently, this product has been successfully applied to the ball mill equipment of well-known enterprises such as Zijin Mining and Haoluo Cement, helping customers reduce comprehensive operating costs by more than 20%.
The relevant person in charge of the company disclosed that, thanks to the advantages of green products, its overseas market share continues to expand. The export earnings are expected to exceed 6 million US dollars in 2025, making it a benchmark enterprise for green export of forged steel balls in China.
