Jinan Haoyang Casting and Forging upgrades the forging process to produce steel balls, significantly enhancing the grinding efficiency of mines.
Recently, Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting Co., Ltd. has launched a new generation of high-strength forged steel balls. This product has achieved performance upgrades for grinding conditions in industries such as mining and construction. It is made of B2/B3 wear-resistant material and is formed through a constant-temperature forging process. The hardness uniformity has been improved by 15%, and the breakage rate is controlled within 0.5%, effectively reducing the long-term usage costs for customers.
According to the technical director of Haoyang Forging and Casting, this upgrade has focused on optimizing the metallographic structure of the steel balls. It maintains high hardness while enhancing toughness, meeting the heavy-load grinding requirements of ball mills. So far, three large mining groups have completed product tests, reporting an 8% increase in grinding efficiency and a 12% reduction in ball consumption. In the future, the company will continue to customize and develop wear-resistant solutions for different working conditions, providing reliable support for the industrial grinding field.
