With an investment of 5 million euros, they are developing ultra-fine grain alloy forging balls. The goal is to increase the fatigue life by 1.8 times compared to international standards. The laboratory will introduce SMS' digital control technology and will apply for 5 EU patents within three years. The performance of the first 120mm steel ball will exceed the German standard.
