Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting Co., Ltd. has launched a new generation of wear-resistant steel balls specifically designed for mining applications.

Jinan, May 7, 2025 - Jinan Haoyang Forging & Casting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Haoyang Forging & Casting") recently announced the launch of a new generation of B2/B3 composite material forged steel balls. This product adopts advanced hot rolling technology, with a hardness of 60-65 HRC, an increase of 20% in impact toughness, and a breakage rate of less than 1%. It can significantly improve the efficiency of mine ball milling and reduce energy consumption.

As a key manufacturing enterprise in Zhangqiu District, Haoyang Casting and Forging has leveraged over 30 years of technological expertise to optimize the heat treatment process of steel balls, ensuring that the products maintain excellent performance even under harsh conditions such as wet grinding and dry grinding. According to tests, this steel ball has a 40% higher wear resistance compared to traditional products in applications such as gold mines and copper mines, and saves over 15% in grinding wear costs annually. Currently, this product has obtained ISO9001:2025 certification and has successfully been exported to markets in Southeast Asia and Africa.

General Manager Chen Jinfu of the company stated: "We have simultaneously launched a combined solution where materials B2 are used for pieces below 60mm and materials B3 are used for pieces above 60mm. This ensures quality while saving approximately $50 per ton for customers." This solution has been tested in several large-scale mines in China and has received positive feedback. In the future, Haoyang Forging will continue to focus on the field of wear-resistant materials, helping to improve efficiency and quality in the global mining industry.
