- Wastewater recycling demonstration:
At the wastewater treatment station, engineers demonstrated the purification process of forging cooling water: “This system realizes 98% water recycling rate, and the annual water saving is equivalent to 20 standard swimming pools.”
- Waste material regeneration experiment:
Students participate in pressing waste steel ball crushing materials into building bricks, visualizing the closed loop of “resource-product-renewable resource”.
2. Environmental knowledge classroom
- Industrial carbon reduction practice:
Playing the homemade animation “The Journey of One Degree of Electricity”, explaining the factory's photovoltaic power generation project - which has covered 15% of electricity demand and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 176 tons per year.
- Life Environmental Protection Initiative:
Distribution of the Family Low Carbon Handbook, which contains practical information such as maps for recycling scrap metal and a guide to community waste categorization
3. Long-term interactive mechanisms
- The “Little Environmental Watchdog” program:
Appointment letters are issued to children in the community to encourage them to record the monthly energy consumption of their families, and excellent cases are awarded factory visits.
- Environmental protection suggestion box:
A physical mailbox is set up at the entrance of the factory to collect residents' suggestions on exhaust gas and noise management, with a commitment to provide feedback within 7 working days.
